These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Omni Tutor platform ("Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Parents and guardians may create accounts on behalf of children under 18, subject to the COPPA Notice.
2. Tutoring services
Omni Tutor connects families with vetted tutors. We pre-screen all tutors and run background checks, but we don't guarantee educational outcomes. Tutors are independent contractors, not employees of Omni Tutor.
3. Payments & refunds
Families pay for session packages in advance. Sessions are drawn from the package balance as they are completed. Unused sessions in a package may be refunded within 30 days of purchase, prorated by sessions consumed. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a scheduled session may be charged in full.
4. Tutor compensation
Tutors are paid at their published rate for each completed session, on a regular payout schedule via Stripe Connect or PayPal. Omni Tutor retains a platform fee per the tutor agreement.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to share inappropriate content, harass others, or violate any law. Sessions may be reviewed for quality assurance.
6. Intellectual property
Lesson materials provided through the platform are licensed for use by enrolled families and tutors. You may not redistribute curriculum materials.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Omni Tutor's liability is limited to the amount you have paid for Services in the last 6 months.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email to the address on your account.
