What we look for
- Bachelor's degree minimum; Master's or active certification strongly preferred for subject specialists.
- 3+ years of teaching experience — classroom, tutoring, graduate TA, or specialist work.
- Subject-specific training where relevant — Orton-Gillingham or Wilson for reading, certification through 12th for math, MFA or HS English background for writing.
- Warmth and patience. You read kids well. You don't talk down. Parents trust you on the first call.
- Background check consent — mandatory for working with minors.
